I hear women say this all the time. I am really interested in booking a boudoir session with you but I still need to lose that last 20 lbs. Do you REALLY?
My husband won't like his gift if I don't lose the weight I gained while on our cruise (man, those buffets were good!!) Oh I know, I hear you!! But holy shit, kick that man's ass to the curb. Or at the very least, get real with yourself. Whose idea is it, really?
If I'm spending all of this money I want to look amazing, and I won't look amazing with all of this extra weight.
Do these phrases sound familiar at all to you? Have you said these out loud to anyone lately? Just yourself? I knew it. YOU are the only one who notices because YOU are the only one who puts that much pressure on yourself. I get it!
The thing is, (and I think I'm starting to sound like a broken record here) I've photographed many women in their undies, since sometime in 2008 to be (not so exact), and so I've seen all kinds of shapes and sizes. And until I meet you and let you know how absolutely gorgeous you are JUST AS YOU ARE, you might not take me too seriously. But I'm telling you, I KNOW THINGS!!! The most important of those things being LIGHT. I fell in love with studio light first, which is a godsend when we have these dark Alberta days. But it's light, like any other, the only difference is color temperature. But I digress.
Light shapes things. Simple as that. I've been told I am a master at lighting, a master at my craft. Yes, I am very comfortable with light and the absence of light. It's what makes most women love their images so much. Not even the outfits. It's the light. How it wraps the curves, I can even make your curves fade into the light if that's what you want.
Let's be honest, I can't MAKE YOU LOVE your curves if you don't. But the way I photograph, once I show you how YOUR beautiful curves and MY lighting and posing make you look, you WILL LOVE your curves again!!
Tips for loving your curvy images:
1. Buy flattering and properly fitting outfits
2. Get into a good stretching routine before your session, and hydrate well the week before. You WILL be doing some awkward feeling poses that look hot hot hot!!!
3. I wanted to have a number 3 but the truth is, it's just that simple! Just 2 simple things to remember!!
Now. Get serious, time waits for no one. Now is the time. xoxo ~ Marlene
